THE MISSION
At smart Europe GmbH - the fast-scaling digital arm of smart automobiles in the EU - the timely launch of a new Hiring Process is key to a successful market entrance. Our mission was to help them design and implement a brand new Hiring Process based on real candidate data linked directly to the company’s growth strategy and culture.
THE OUTCOME
We designed from scratch: building in unique candidate experience insights, tailored best
practices and a bullet-proof formula to scale the Hiring Process sustainably in smart Europe’s cross-functional organization. The new process enables smart Europe GmbH to improve talent attraction and hiring quality across Europe.

THE ACTION
Understanding first our client’s strategic roadmap was the only way to ensure we would craft the tailored solution smart Europe was looking for. Internal analysis of their existing hiring process and strategic interviews of relevant stakeholders provided an in-depth perspective on the project scope.
Then, we added real-time candidate research and a unique user profiling to create a Hiring Process prototype by means of a rapid co-creation approach. Weekly iterations allowed smart Europe to sign off on the initial prototype within a few weeks. The entire design process was 100% feedback-driven: The Hiring Process emerged from continuous engagement with internal and external users. We were happy to deliver live Training and a completely customized Hiring Playbook, ready to use.
